Inclusion
The most vibrant and resilient communities are the most diverse communities. We strive to serve and celebrate changemakers from all backgrounds, and actively work towards designing inclusive and affirming spaces and programs.

Our mission is two-fold — one, to create intentional spaces where changemakers can thrive, collaborate with peers, and build community, and two, to reimagine traditional real estate models. What would it look like if changemakers were holistically supported so their work could be amplified? And what would it look like if communities had more ownership in how their neighborhoods and cities developed? These are some of the questions we’re exploring through co-living models.
Human-centered design is an approach to problem-solving that centers empathy for the people you’re designing for; in our case, our changemakers and the communities around them. This approach guides us to think about issues at various intersections: how to balance historic preservation with sustainability, quality with affordability, and so on.
We make living out your purpose easier by providing affordable resources and a network of support to help you build a mission-driven career and life. By living at The Guild, you can also be assured that you're living in a space that is ethically developed and operated.
We often partner with other social enterprises or community organizers to create meaningful experiences for our members and the communities we operate in. Such partnerships also allow us to contribute to Atlanta's growing social impact ecosystem.
From furnishings to basic supplies, we source as much locally as possible. For non-local sources, we choose products and brands that have sustainable manufacturing and supply chain processes. For service providers like cleaners, yoga or meditation instructors, landscapers or farmers, and other operations-related vendors, we prioritize minority-owned businesses .
Our spaces are filled with art that is meant to spark curiosity and dialogue. We love working with local artists from diverse backgrounds. Featured here is a piece that hangs on our walls titled Wildlife (Ode to Tamir Rice) by local artist Shanequa Gay. We also have small murals in some of our suites.

We believe transparency has the power to lead to better social outcomes that center fairness and justice, especially in the real estate industry. We strive to be transparent about our work, including sharing our learnings along the way.
We strive to reduce our carbon and total environmental footprint through our physical spaces. Our programs also equip changemakers to live more sustainable lifestyles and embed sustainability into their own work.
