The Guild was born out of a need to serve changemakers and help maximize their impact in the world. These changemakers work on the front lines of pressing issues such as racial justice, climate change, food insecurity, education, public health, and gender equality. They come from all walks of life, exist in every community, and are doing some of the most important work of our time. Each member of our team brings their unique expertise to empowering these changemakers and building resilient communities around them.
Nikishka Iyengar
Founder / CEO
"My first introduction to coliving was living in a student-run cooperative in college, which turned out to be one of the most rewarding experiences I've had. Living in a diverse house democratically run by the members that lived in it gave me fresh ideas and perspectives on how to build community equitably. As an entrepreneur and strategist, I'm working towards shaping the next economy, one that centers social justice and benefits all people + the planet, and I want The Guild to play a role in this. I want to create living environments that help changemakers and communities thrive and provide alternative models to the status quo, which tends to be exclusionary by design."
Michael Maziar
Partner
"As Investor Relations Manager for the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC), I strategically match portfolio companies to capital through curated investor interactions. I help companies develop a focused funding strategy through presenting the business case, value proposition, and financial viability. I joined The Guild as a partner to help social entrepreneurs and civic innovators launch and scale their ventures, as well as bring innovative financing models to the real estate development space"
